Details
Do you want the truth or do you want me to lie to you?
The truth is...
The clouds are made of cream cheese.
I dont speak "lemonese".
Chocolate milk comes from brown cows.
And YES you can use cheese curls for eyebrows.
Open up your coloring book
In your mind nothing is as it should look
Because THIS is imagination heaven.
It doesnt matter if your infinity x seven.
The truth is in the details, my dear.
The details are everywhere.
Slay
On top of the hill, I slayed the dragon.
I stabbed him with my swords.
But instead of blood and goo and guts,
out came my very own words.
"EXCELSIOR ESTA INSIDIOUS!
Alas I am free!"
My words lept onto my lips
and dwelled inside of me.
Evanescence
Dilly dally all day by the side of the road.
Livid in life if it must be told.
Create the creative see wonders unfold.
March among marionettes never grow old.
Quotes
I am so proud of you! You climbed the mountain, reached it's peak and lived to tell about it.
Do good and your outcome will become you.

My Quotes
Forlorn, a lover's Despair
Unfulfilled hopes and dreams
Live and love don't be mean
The time of year is early spring
Without a beau, without a ring
I dream of the stars but have only reached the stratosphere. I have a long way to go.
I whisper silently in the wind. It comes back to me unheard, a flightless messenger bird. What a lonely life without a friend.
on a calm blue lake / an enriched moon beckons me / to the water's edge
Look what I took out of my secret pocket? It was LOVE. You roused this listless heart of mine. Your kiss is my invisible locket.
I'm barking at the moon. It's full.
Each liberty is mine for the taking Your presence is shrouded with a bow ~The Twinkle of Me
I built crashes; I tear down walls
If you can control your mind, your body will follow
Seriousness of life destroys the fragile dandelion called living.
My enemy: procrastination. I slay him every day.
Don't settle for second best. Settle for the best.
An immovable mountain obstructs your view. Have you tried seeing through the obstacle? Sometimes the obstacle is not as solid as it seems.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel requires long arms.
How can I make the world special? By just being myself. There is only one of me.
Treat your friends like a fine painting, treasure them.
We all make mistakes. That IS part of the strive toward perfection.

create a spark, a fire might ensue
I sent the wind
to whisper thy name
among the timbers
But since the firestorm
your name has danced
along the embers

My Quotes
Defy your understanding, dig deeper!
Don't be the obstacle. Be the light on a dark path.
Just because the room is empty, does not mean you are alone.
Kill the ego and its murder will set you free.
You become what you believe.
Your future lies among the cosmos.
You can go somewhere for the first time only once.
We embrace the stars. We embrace the night. Fireflies in jars, their bright glowing light.
The sun rises and spoils our observations.
If you like me, take care of me. Signed, Mother Earth.
I yearn for the dawn while the moon seranades me to sleep.
Speak the truth about everything but do it with tact.
Dilly dally all day by the side of the road. Livid in life if it must be told.
Create the creative see wonders unfold. March among marionettes never grow old.
When you give love, you are in the light.
Beauty is delicious. Ever see a picture perfect apple?
Humor is something that will make you feel good.
Roses are red; so is my heart. Instead of an arrow, you used a dart.
Even if the only rose you can find is one springing from concrete, don't forget to smell it.
Try a new approach. Open the box in the back first.

I feel so humble and so strong. I am part of an amazing world.
I gaze into the heavens and see such an amazing thing.
It's no coincidence. It's amazing!
Eyes blind, empty mind,
Heart breaks, shatters quakes
Does that place exist where there is no more tears or fears

On A Clear Day
On a clear day you can see everything
and it was a clear sunny day
So many smiles went up that day
(poem in progress)
My prayers go out to the victims and their families of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. I remember it being such a sunny beautiful day that day when I got to work. A friend of mine said a cousin called her and told her a plane had crashed into the WTC building. I told her, "That's impossible because you're not even suppose to fly over the towers." But it was true. And we watched everything on our tv's at work. Everything, even the second plane crashing into the second tower. It was too real. It was like we were watching a movie. It brought my mind back to 1995, when I sat at home with a new baby on maternity leave and watched coverage of a bombing that had just happened at the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ironically, I lived approximately 120-130 miles from the Okla City bombing on April 19th and on Sept 11, 2001, I lived approximately 145 miles from WTC attacks. What a small vivid world we live in.

A lot of us have had trouble in our past. Don't let your past be your picture frame. Our past shouldn't define us, it should inspire us.

I just read a story about Rebecca Black being bullied because of her stupid song Friday
. Her mother apparently had to pull her out of school. How sad is that. Yeah her song had some stupid lyrics and the video was equally suckish but that is no reason to bully her out of school. I live in a state where a couple of kids were bullied so severely that they committed suicide. It would be nice if the people who bullied her got some sort of punishment because this has become serious business. It seems like people just don't understand the results of their actions anymore until they are brought before the law or have gotten some sort of punishment.
On the other hand, this is probably good for Rebecca Black
cause she seems to be laughing all the way to the bank. She must have pretty thick skin. But we knew that cause it must take thick skin to make a cheesy song like she did and put it out on Youtube.
On the other hand, this is probably good for Rebecca Black

Laughter
We're a pill nation. We'll take a pill for anything and everything. You could go to the doctor with a made up illness and come out with a prescription.
What about laughter?
I just love it! Laughter IS the best medicine! I wish I could process it and put it in pill form.
Of course some people are saying it causes wrinkles, the dreaded parenthesis.
(Well it's worth a few wrinkles.) Parenthesis
intended.

"Get up! Get up!" "Time to go!" Slowly, my feet feel the floor Unsteady, I grab for the wheelchair Straightening out my gown "Watch your feet!" Whisked down the corridor Past smiles and waves To the light at the end "We have to scrub our hands again?" Wheel me in, past the twins. What was that? Oh another alarm going off! Almost there Last one on the right Hello precious one Red, green, white... little tiny wires I can hear your heartbeat But I can't hold you |
Perseverance.
I wrote this poem years ago about my precious one who lived and died one hot day in August 1996. She lived 22 days and this was my daily routine from my room in the maternity section to the neo-natal intensive care at the hospital for the first week after her birth. For those who have went through this experience, you know the sadness felt when you are only able to view your baby through a see-through container and not able to experience the joy of holding, cuddling and making that special bond you expect after giving birth. Even though we were never able to bring this one home, we were blessed with three bundles of joy over the years, one of them after this experience.
Only God knows why certain people go through certain experiences. Is it to prepare us and make us stronger for other bumps in the road of life? Most likely, but perseverance is up to you.
So whatever circumstances that may come your way, whether it be small or large, I hope you persevere.

Look inside or within.
What is it?
Blind confidence?
Perseverance
Or is it just your heart
beating
the beat
of consciousness
Sometimes the answer to the simplest question is the simpliest answer.

I couldn't help myself. I got up looking at the Royal Wedding stuff on tv. It was so fairytale-ish; I love that kind of stuff, lol. When my son was around three years old, I use to call him Prince James. I even wrote a children's poem based on our banter.
So while my son & I were watching the Royal Wedding this morning before school, I called him Prince James. I told him he was a prince and this (waving my hand around the room) "is your kingdom." He asked me "where is my throne?" I pointed to the toilet and said, "there it is." He said, "This is a crappy kingdom." LOL
