Ya see, two camels walk into a bar, ya see. One camel says to the bartender "Can I have a glass of water. The bartender says, "Whoa dude, don't you have enough water already?" The camel says, "Oh no it's not for me. It's for my friend. He had a dry hump."

an ends to a mean
a smile pressed upon a kiss
The state of my mind
A choice

Shine baby SHINE!
There are two sides to everything
the good & the bad
the light & the dark
the positive & the negative
In this world, one depends on the other
You must educate yourself about the dark to make your light SHINE brighter
Shine baby SHINE!

Inspiration
the pattern the sunlight made through the trees
on the sprawling pavement
sometimes she saw faces, patterns... WORDS
Outside, she stood beneath the tree,
letting the sunlight tickle her face.
That is how it began.
She found her inspiration in the sunlight.

Crescent's Jealousy
You are not magical and mystical
as my favorite
She is voluptuous, full
and circular like our original shape
She is effervescent and coy
She beckons me to the pool
to look at her reflection
In it I see esteem beauty
encircling
playful woes of another day
She loves to instigate
endless peek-a-boo
along Cumulus Row
She leaves me longing
at first blush when her starlit
curtain is drawn
oh Crescent
Your forlorn jealousy
should be stacked, pasted
written on the wind
It is unwarranted yet benign
For you have looked behind yourself
and beheld her
etched kindness
her intimidating haunt and
her incredible gaze
as she dances along the open plain
You long to be something you will never be
round
voluptuous
most opportune
my favorite

Laissez Faire la Food
(Do not take the food)
Saturday is the day that we always got up
We’d have a croissant, a little coffee in our cup
We’d talk about our plans and make a few
We’d sit at the table, we’d do what lover’s do
Sometimes we’d have orange juice instead of coffee
Sometimes it was cinnamon rolls with hot butter toffee
But no matter the food it is now met with rue
Saturday is just not as delectable without you

I Got the Party Planning Blues
To which I was tardy
Oh brother! My job is in jeopardy.
My balloon delight
Caused such a fright
When it popped in the middle of an ice cream fight.
The party was ruined
The birthday girl was boo-hooin'
And her mother shouted, "Oh yes, I'll be suin' "
The life of a party planner
Could never be grander!
After this one I quit. I'm now a panhandler.

That dreaded washing machine
My character hates reality television.
Oh yes, she loves being real but she revels and gets caught up in the masked identity of fantasy. Bold colors, engaging action and bellowing music scores make her tingle with enthusiasm and takes her to distant exotic places where she can no longer hear car horns, bill collectors and the washing machine.
Sigh!
Back to reality.
That dreaded washing machine…

The Spring Show
I am green with envy of how you reach out beneath
the crystals
that cover your safe beginnings. I shiver as I observe and marvel
at your lesson. Even though the seasons try to cover your sanctity
and callous
your exterior, that inner spirit precipitates life that can’t help itself.
Thank you for this conjured moment; I look forward to your next show!

Love Life and Laugh Alot!

You're the best cure I've ever invented.
If I didn't know I was living this life, I would swear I was looking at a movie.
Do more for LOVE today than yourself.
Let's meet at the intersection of Love and Understanding.
Poetry
Through the Storm
But I got you baby
forever and a day
Throughout the year
Men have set fire
to ropes of danger
Trapped behind doors,
burned to the core
But I got you
to keep me true
Through the storm

He turned his thoughts into parachutes,
little words that lifted people up.
He thought of life as less dense,
like lemonade in a coffee cup

Men have set fire to ropes of danger
Trapped behind doors, burned to the core
But I got you to keep me true
Through the storm
Let the planet rock on, at the request of the dawn
Transfigured and removed for the sake of a groove
But I got you baby for ever and a day
Throughout the year
Toils and shadows
Hate unbridled
Baby, it won't do
It won't keep me from you
Fear and sorrow
Can rain in tomorrow
It won't change the forecast
Our love will still last_______
Babe don't you worry or get in a hurry
Love is your bankroll, heat when you're cold
but I'm not anything
Throughout this year_______
I want to be everything through the storm

Fruitless (Oh Lord Make Me A Compass)
(Oh Lord Make Me A Compass)
O Lord make me a compass
Deal bountifully with me
Don't let my words be crass
Plant me by the water like a tree
Point me in the direction where faith's abound
Show me my daily bread THIS day
So that I may eat it on earth's firm ground
And sing praises how your compass led the way
For I am fruitless, barren... a deciduous tree
But I am strong and hold great knowledge for someone
So let my steadfast strength glorify thee
As a compass by the shore when looked upon

Sandy
Much better than his sister
For she was rancid as acid
Folks around town called her bitter
Like spit on a fire, quite impossible
she was a wave of destruction
He invented lazy days and sunshine
Bold versus subdued. Ink versus intuition.
A bombastic coverlet, indeed superficial
A fairy tale, believable, yet fake
Quite magnanimous, of infinate proportions
Like a thief in the night takes the cake

Jubith Sential, the woman who talked to appliances, did a complete 180 today and began talking to her dog instead. This completely confused the canine because he thought she'd been talking to him all this time.

"Doctor," said Hans. "I'm all blocked. I haven't done nothin' in weeks."
The doctor went to a cabinet in the room and pulled out a box with a hole in the top.
"What's this?" asked Hans, sticking his hand into the box.
"Take two quotations and call me in the morning."

Murder
repeating weather report
It’s hot
92 degrees
A rusty gun metal fan
dark mahogany desk
the crumpled brown paper bag
blows across the floor
and dances against the wall
a gorgeous skirt whistles
while lifting composure
intensely
a brilliant opportunity
as gold bullion
toasts sweet perfume
where a standing position
gets you your
cantaloupe haze
dangling earrings
a matching necklace
the door unlocks
and swings open
It’s murder

I've been motivated lately to play...
play music that is
Music is our saving grace
Without it we would drift away
into the darkness...
into the abyss
The sweet melodies lost,
the recordings of the greats
silenced. This is why I play...
I don't want to be forgotten
