Happy Birthday to my daughter

Before I was fully awake, I wrote a poem in my head to my daughter. I posted it on her fb with an old picture of her sitting in a little chair when she was two.

Clap for the birthday girl! Hi little one!
Today you are 16 and lots of fun
But my best memories are of when you were little
and being a child that was born in the middle
of your brother and sister but back then who knew
That you would turn out to be such a beautiful you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

hahaha that last line (before the Happy Birthday) sounds so greeting card cheezy.
